SJNCS provides a progressive curriculum emphasizing rigorous instruction in all subject areas including religion, English, literature, math, science, Spanish, technology, art, music, and physical education. Teachers take a balanced approach to academics, recognizing each student’s need for mastery of fundamental skills, combined with the use of higher order of thinking and 21st century skills including communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

Service Learning
Fulfilling the school’s mission, every SJN student is charged to participate in God’s work by serving others. Students engage in monthly faith and good works projects through which a broad array of nonprofits benefit. Middle school students are required to attain service hours each semester and are given the opportunity to witness the fruits of their labor.
