St. John Neumann Catholic School, like all independent schools, is responsible for its own funding. While tuition and fees provide 90 percent of the funds required to educate students, the remaining 10 percent comes from tax-deductible gifts given by parents, grandparents, alumni, and other friends of SJNCS.

SJNCS is truly fortunate to have such generous support of those committed to the school’s mission. The generosity of each and every person who has been impacted through the SJNCS experience continues to make a difference in our school’s success. Only through this legacy of giving can SJNCS remain an outstanding school – sought out by dedicated teachers as a wonderful environment in which to work, as well as by parents as the best place to educate their children.

Our school offers a variety of fundraising options and opportunities throughout the year. Learn more about some of our biggest fundraisers below.

Golf Tournament

Our golf tournament is an annual event that where fifty percent of all dollars raised will be used for tuition support for existing students. The remaining funds raised will be used for continuing education for teachers and efforts to increase enrollment at our school.

Calendar Sales

Would you support Catholic education for 10 cents a day? The answer to that question is key to the success of this fundraising program through Diocese of Knoxville schools to increase tuition-assistance funding for students in need. The program, which is based on the sale of 12-month calendars with a bit of a lottery twist, promises to be a hit with people who purchase one for $36.50 – 10 cents a day for a year.
